Obama’s Teleprompter

Posted by boedicca on September 30, 2008

Real Life has been intruding on my online time, but this is just to chuckle-worthy not to note:

Moral: Beware of Slick Pols who can’t speak without highly orchestrated stagecraft.

A must watch video of the current Fracas:

The Dems’ Faustian Bargain

Posted by boedicca on September 22, 2008

The “Change” theme has bugged me for awhile – and it finally clicked when I saw the picture of Obama’s plane:

In the classic Faustian sense, Obama is promsing CHANGE (take your pick if you Believe In It, or just Need It).  Consider the film “Bedazzled” (or the classic Twilight Zone episode featuring Julie Newmar), and wonder how you’ll feel when you look down at your crotch and discover that The Devil has given you a teenie weenie.

I can just picture President Obama grinning in a condescending fashion and saying “I promised you change, but you never asked what kind of change”, as he furthers the the U.S.’s transformation into a Socialist Distopia.

Now the Moonbats are Trying to Shame Us into Voting for Obama

Posted by boedicca on September 17, 2008

Well, you know, if people don’t vote for Obama, it must be because they are RACISTS.

Some dude on CNN claims it’s TWOO:

Race is arguably the biggest issue in this election, and it’s one that nobody’s talking about.

The differences between Barack Obama and John McCain couldn’t be more well-defined. Obama wants to change Washington. McCain is a part of Washington and a part of the Bush legacy. Yet the polls remain close. Doesn’t make sense…unless it’s race.

Time magazine’s Michael Grunwald says race is the elephant in the room. He says Barack Obama needs to tread lightly as he fights back against the McCain-Palin campaign attacks.

I’m going to file this under yet more Liberal Elitism.   The good people who are supporting McCain couldn’t possibly have an intelligent or informed reason for doing so – they must all be bitterly clinging to their guns and Bibles while fondling a Confederate Flag.

I’m really getting tired of this condescension – but do not find it at all surprising.

Obama’s Seed Capital

Posted by boedicca on September 15, 2008

Lucianne has a link to a videoclip today which is a must see.  It connects the dots between Bill Ayer’s as the provider of the “seed capital” which bankrolled Obama’s political career.  As Chairman of the Annenberg Challenge, Obama was able to buy favors with the $50M Ayers brought to the party.

The more things Change, the more they Stay The Same.  Obama is just another Chicago Machine Politician with a nice manicure.

Palin Derangement Syndrome ‘Splained

Posted by boedicca on September 12, 2008

It’s finally clicked with me why the Left has become complete unhinged regarding Sarah Palin: They have Mommy issues.

Think about it. The Leftwing Power Trifecta (Political, Media, and Academia class leaders) and their Hollywood Groupies live lives of privilege in which they are fairly sheltered from the consequences of their actions. They are able to buy their way out of their problems, and are surrounded by synchophants and “their people” who protect them from the blowback. They live in a state of arrested adolescent development in which everything is relative. There is no right or wrong – just what feels good.

Sarah Palin is an existential threat to their bubble world. She is Mommy, who lives and enforces immutable standards of right and wrong. And like most bratty teenagers, the Left is having a temper tantrum.

This Should Remove Any Lingering Doubt…

Posted by boedicca on September 9, 2008

If I harbored one shred of doubt regarding my opposition to Obama being President, this would squash it flat:

US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be struggling to nudge ahead of his Republican rival in polls at home, but people across the world want him in the White House, a BBC poll said.

All 22 countries covered in the poll would prefer to see Senator Obama elected US president ahead of Republican John McCain.

In 17 of the 22 nations, people expect relations between the US and the rest of the world to improve if Senator Obama wins.

More than 22,000 people were questioned by pollster GlobeScan in countries ranging from Australia to India and across Africa, Europe and South America.

The margin in favour of Senator Obama ranged from 9 per cent in India to 82 per cent in Kenya, while an average of 49 per cent across the 22 countries preferred Senator Obama compared with 12 per cent preferring Senator McCain. Some four in 10 did not take a view.

“Large numbers of people around the world clearly like what Barack Obama represents,” GlobeScan chairman Doug Miller said.

The rest of the world sees Obama as weak and easy to manipulate.   As If those are Desirable Qualities for a Commander in Chief.  As If.

Rumor Tanks UAL Stock

Posted by boedicca on September 8, 2008

Talk about a bummer. United Airlines stock dropped over 99% based on a false rumor that they are about to file for bankruptcy. Apparently, a four year old story has been recirculated as New News. After being halted, it’s now back up to $9. The forensics on this are going to be CSI worthy – I suspect somebody made a fortune on this manipulation.

Obama is a Whole New Kinda Smart!

Posted by boedicca on September 6, 2008

Well slap my ass and call me Judy! We are finally enlightened as to why Obama is entitled to be President. Big Kudos to Former Governor Mario Cuomo for delivering the message:

He’s a new kind of intelligence. He’s young and bright. He has a different attitude toward the world, a more cosmopolitan attitude. He’s all the things we need.

A NEW KIND OF INTELLIGENCE!

I’m guessing this means that we should just vote for him without questioning anything he does or say because we wouldn’t understand anyway, being that most of us are the old kind of intelligence.

Why Is Oprah Afraid?

Posted by boedicca on September 5, 2008

File this under yet more proof that Oprah has jumped the shark.  She’s afraid to have Sarah Palin on her show.  I don’t care what her politics are – but Sarah, like it or not, is historically and culturally significant.  Ignoring her won’t make her go away.

The Evul Right Wing Organ, Fox News, will be broadcasting three segments next week of Bill O’Reilly interviewing Barack Obama.   Ain’t it funny how those who claim to be Inclusive and Celebratory of Diversity can’t handle anyone who is different and that the Bigoted GOP includes an African American Woman Secretary of State and now a Woman Vice Presidential Candidate?
